Origins

Airwave Surfboards started in a garage in the North of England, fuelled by studies of industrial design, composite technology and fluid dynamics.

With design in our blood, we design bespoke surfboards that balance form and function.

Designers. Not shapers.

Design & Process

"Essentially, we're riding composite products that manipulate fluid flow. As much intelligent design as craftsmanship."

Research and development, not trial and error. We create our templates, rockers and rails from first principles, using human body ergonomics, fluid dynamics and a unique design process.

Each board is cut using industry leading CNC technology, for accuracy, control and precision. And yeah, each board is still fine-shaped, glassed and finished by hand, by the best craftsmen in the game.
